Another BOINC Push!

boinc.jpg I've succeeded in winning another convert in my next door neighbor from the HKU medical school. BOINC (Berkeley Open Interface for Network Computing) has released a new version of its client software, IBM's coming around and supporting the BOINC platform for FightAIDS@Home and Human Proteome Folding project, Rosetta@Home is publishing PC and Mac research in scientific journals, a whole new set of BOINC projects from microgravity fluid dynamics to nanotechnology research are in final testing and AMD and Intel promise a new line of chips in the next year that are going to allow the home users to contribute to science like never before!

So what are you waiting for? Download the future! :)
