Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Research Tour
Next week is Reading Week here at HKU. This means ten days of "reading", writing and freedom.
And as I hoped to get away for a bit to Beijing, I jumped at this Pricewaterhouse offering. My desire to go to Beijing is two fold: 1) spend time at Peking University and 2) inspect the Olympic preparations. With this tour, I'll be living on campus and given a tour of the stadiums (and practice my putonghua!). I couldn't be happier.
Actually very excited to partake in seminars with Beida students, as well as visit CCTV.
But first, reading and research! :)
